Explore our ESG performance

Carbon Footprint

Moxba Group has mapped its corporate carbon footprint in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The assessment covers direct emissions from our operations, emissions related to purchased energy and relevant indirect emissions across our value chain. This helps us understand where emissions arise, identify areas for improvement and monitor developments over time. We continue to improve the quality of our emissions data and use these insights to support informed decision-making and future reduction measures. Further information is available on request.

Sustainability reporting (VSME)

Moxba Group reports on relevant environmental, social and governance topics in line with the VSME framework. The report provides a structured overview of our sustainability approach and performance. Our VSME sustainability report is available on request.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Moxba has conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) on its FeNiMo alloy produced from recycled metal and catalyst waste streams to evaluate environmental impact across the full life cycle.

The assessment was carried out by an external specialist in accordance with ISO 14040/14044 standards and independently reviewed.

The LCA provides insight into the environmental impact of materials, transport and processing activities throughout the recycling chain.

Commitment to quality and responsibility

We adhere to internationally recognised standards and collaborate with respected industry organisations that support responsible business practices, environmental management and continuous improvement across our operations.

Moxba, Metrex and MMB are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, supporting structured quality and environmental management across our operations.

The certifications reflect our commitment to consistent operational processes, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Moxba is assessed by EcoVadis, which evaluates companies on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
The assessment provides insight into sustainability-related topics including environmental impact, ethics, labour and human rights, and responsible procurement practices.

Moxba operates in accordance with applicable European chemical and environmental regulations, including REACH requirements managed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). REACH supports the safe use of chemicals and the protection of human health and the environment.

Moxba is an active member of several international industry organisations supporting responsible recycling, metal
