Industrial processes generate metal-bearing waste streams that still contain valuable metals. Moxba Group recovers these metals and returns them to industrial value chains as valuable raw materials and products.

Depending on their composition and characteristics, materials may undergo one or more processes: mechanical processing, thermal treatment and pyrometallurgical processing.

Mechanical processing can include breaking, shredding, sieving and mixing. Thermal treatment removes oil and other impurities, while suitable materials can be melted and refined into Fe-alloys through pyrometallurgical processing.

By selecting the most suitable route for each material, we recover valuable resources from metal-bearing waste streams and support a more circular use of industrial metals.

From waste to valuable materials

Recovered materials from our recycling processes are reused in industrial applications, including Fe-alloys and other secondary raw materials.

Moxba Group manages the complete process from collection and transport to processing and material recovery, in accordance with applicable environmental and safety regulations.
